MEE 2012 will take place between November 25 and 27, the exhibition’s organiser, Channels Exhibitions, has confirmed. It will coincide with the ‘Duty Free Week ‘, which includes the golf tournament and the Middle East Duty Free Association (MEDFA) Conference.
“By staging MEE 2012 in November, parallel to the annual MEDFA conference, we will ensure the highest possible attendance at the exhibition by key figures from across the industry, including duty free travel buyers and top airline retail executives,” says Justin Boutros of Channels Exhibitions.
“Greeting the show’s November move very positively, confirmed and potential exhibitors are looking forward to being able to meet the high turnout of key decision makers from the duty free, travel retail and luxury goods industry who converge on Dubai for the MEDFA Conference and various other well-attended industry events. Running the two events at the same time will put Dubai firmly at the centre of the global duty free industry.”
Now in its ninth year, MEE has grown into an essential annual sourcing event for duty free and travel retail buyers looking for the latest high-end products and branded goods. The show attracts senior executives from some of the biggest names in retailing, airports, hotels, border shops, seaports and cruise lines.
