Montblanc has announced the end of its partnership with former regional representatives Visions FZCO after more than a decade of successful collaboration. The luxury maison has opened a travel retail division based out of Richemont Group's offices in Dubai. Montblanc's newest regional travel retail division will be responsible for the Middle East & Africa and India, and is the brand's third after Hong Kong and Miami.
The core objective of the Dubai-based division is to further develop the travel retail business in the region and enhance Montblanc's boutique network at major airports. To meet rapidly increasing demands, Montblanc has decided to supply travel retailers in the region directly from its central warehouses in Germany and Switzerland. To facilitate this process and to ensure efficient logistics, new account management roles have been introduced at Montblanc's travel retail head office in Hamburg.
Kazem Toedt, Area Manager Travel Retail International, Montblanc, explains, "With our new division, we are strengthening our commitment to the MEA and India. Travel retailers have given us a lot of positive feedback on this move and we are thankful for their ongoing support. We have a range of exciting new initiatives in the pipeline as we work to further develop the luxury shopping experience for our customers."
Fabrice Dessart, Area Sales Manager MEA and India, joins Montblanc to head the new Dubai division, bringing with him extensive travel retail experience in the region.
